Will stands up
It seems like Will has just shot ahead this week, figuring out so much in such a little amount of time. He is now sitting up by himself much better, without falling over. He is crawling like a pro. He is eating solids, cereal and vegetables mostly, and he has tasted pears. He says, “Da-da,” all the time, although he doesn’t really know what that means. He has figured out how to raz, which he does in spurts. And now he is pulling himself up on whatever he can reach to stand up. See the video below as a classic example.
John and I were reading him a story the other night, and he kept pulling himself up to standing by grabbing on to us, and I said, “Time to lower his crib mattress to the lowest setting!” John said, “We’ll do it tomorrow.” But about a half hour later, when Will was supposed to be sleeping, I came into his nursery and found him standing up in his crib. Grinning from ear to ear. So we had to take him out and readjust his crib to the lowest setting. It’s crazy. He is growing so fast. At the doctor last week he was 16 lbs, 5 oz, and 28 inches tall.
