Happy Birthday to Me!

So, it's my 29th birthday today (yep, getting up there) and I made myself a little video to celebrate my first birthday as a mother.

Father's Day

So today is Father's Day, and we've had a lot of fun so far. I went to the store early to get supplies for breakfast and dinner, and John wanted to cook this huge wonderful breakfast with sausage and bacon and eggs and toast and potatoes O'Brien, so that was great and I am still feeling stuffed from that. . . John opened his present, which was a mousepad that I had made out of a picture of Will and him (see Will holding it above--he really liked the wrapping for the present). And John watched his Father's Day video that I made, which I will post below.

Tonight we will have fried chicken, corn on the cob, and John's mom's special potato salad. Oh, and cake. Mmmmm cake.

Will is going in for his well baby checkup tomorrow. Another round of shots, poor guy. This week he learned to roll over and he's doing it all the time. I keep finding him sleeping on his stomach. He is also STILL sick with this intestinal thing he has. Tomorrow we're going to have to provide a sample so the Dr. can figure out what it is that has had him sick these past 2 weeks. He seems fine, otherwise, active and eating fine. I have finally accomplished getting him to drink out of a sippy cup. He rejected the bottle so soundly, but the Sippy cup with Pedialyte in it has been okay. Half of it ends up on his bib, but I think he gets a little of it in his stomach, and he likes grabbing the handles of the cup and trying to get it to his mouth.

Here's the video, a card I made for John.

4 months and change

I am finding less and less time to write on this thing, as Will is sleeping less and less these days. It's been a couple of weeks since we got back from Idaho. Will is sick with some sort of intestinal thing--we've been to the Dr. and she said he was OK, probably just a little virus or something, but it has not been fun. I have been feeding him more often to keep him hydrated, and am starting to feel a little like a human dairy farm.

Will is still changing so fast. He rolled over for the first time just a few days ago. He is also wanting to be propped up and to be stood up a lot of the time. My friend Lindsey gave us an Exersaucer, which he really likes.

Here is the new video:
